SnuggleWool Pad for Baby Bassinet or Cradle is Machine Washable This 28" x 40" SnuggleWool baby pad is a wool pad that gives your child soft, snuggly comfort while sleeping. The pad also features elastic bands that easily slip under the ends of a mattress. As with all Snuggle Wool products, this infant pad is machine washable. Machine wash cool or warm, gentle cycle, Line dry. If needed, brush the wool when still damp with a pet slicker brush. Made in the USA by Snugglewool. Note: Snugglewool recommends using a fitted sheet over the pad ; the benefits of the wool remain unchanged and it gives the customer peace of mind. However, nurseries in Australia and New Zealand lie newborns directly on the wool pads, which is also perfectly safe. There are no hazardous chemicals used in treating the wool, and unlike actual lambskins that are much furrier and could pose a risk, Snugglewool pads have only a 1" pile. Thewool, from the Merino sheep in Australia and New Zealand, is sliver-knit to a polyester backing and processed to withstand gentle machine washing.
